I think it's a great idea for the local people from the cities to share different opinions instead of putting only the famous places of the city. This will make to the tourists discover other sites of the city, and consequently, take away from the city a memory that not everyone can have.

Airbnb has launched Trips in Barcelona, the platform that, as Hosteltur published news about tourism in 'Airbnb Trips, the new operator online', offers to the visitors the possibility to book experiences with the local, discover recomedations made by the people who lives in Barcelona or who wants to join meetings with other travellers and residents of the area.

With this initiative, Airbnb will allow visitors, in addition to reserving accommodation in private homes, "experience the city in another way and immerse themselves in local communities," according to this platform. According to the company, this option can contribute to "diversify tourism, away from the center, and allow local people to benefit from the arrival of visitors to the city, with which they can share their passions and skills and get extra money." He also believes that this platform can help Barcelona's own to discover new activities and meet new people in the city.

"Barcelona is much more than the typical routes through the city center," says Gloria Molins, who leads the launch of Trips in Barcelona.
